Shinigami Trades LLC ("Shinigami Trades," "we," "us") operates https://shinigamitrades.com and member tools (including software at https://app.shinigamitrades.com, accessed through Whop). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our education service and member tools.

Account information

Email address, password (stored securely via our auth provider), and phone number
Whop membership status (to verify access)
Discord user ID (to deliver member notifications)
Brokerage API credentials you provide (stored encrypted; we do not store your broker password)

Usage and technical data

App configuration, risk settings, and trade history related to your account
Log data, IP address, and device/browser information for security and troubleshooting

How we use information

Provide and maintain the education service and member software
Verify identity, manage accounts, and enforce membership access
Send transactional emails (verification codes, password reset, account notices)
Send optional service reminders you enable in your account settings
Send SMS notifications when you opt in at sign-up or in settings
Improve security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

Email and SMS communications

We do not send unsolicited bulk marketing email. Emails are limited to account-related and service messages. You provide email and phone at registration with explicit consent for transactional and optional notification messages. You may update notification preferences in your member account or contact support@shinigamitrades.com to opt out of non-essential communications where applicable.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the service:

Service providers — cloud hosting (e.g. AWS), authentication, email delivery (Amazon SES), and payment/membership verification (Whop)
Brokers — when you approve a trade, order instructions are sent to your connected brokerage via their API
Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect rights and safety

Data retention and security

We retain information while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and operational purposes. Credentials and sensitive data are encrypted at rest. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we use commercially reasonable safeguards.

Children

Our service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
